Mission

Our mission at R.E.A.C.H Mindfulness & Yoga is to offer the benefits of mindfulness and yoga to children, teens, adults, leaders, educators, community members and advocates from all regions, communities and walks of life.

Vision

Our vision is to support and serve the lives of all our communities by giving them access to mindfulness skills, tools and practices which reduce stress and anxiety, develop attention and focus, promote emotional regulation, teach empathy and compassion, create a sense of well-being, helps discover and create resilience, awareness, and connection.

Mindful Journaling

The benefits of journal writing can be healing, creative and quite transformative. Journal writing can support us to deepen our relationship with ourselves, others and the world around us. We will share our writing with others to help build community, foster connection, increase resiliency, fuel creativity, and deepen compassion for ourselves and others. Join today & discover your power and growth through writing, community and mindfulness practices.

Intro to Mindfulness
 

This workshop is offered and created for all age groups. The workshop will introduce the power of living mindfully and to teach practical mindfulness tools. 

This informative, interactive workshop provides a foundational understanding of what mindfulness is, the proven health and benefits, and experiential understanding of what it means to be mindful. Includes:

  • Explanations of the principles of mindfulness

Journal & Slow Flow

Release tension, stress, and anxiety deeper in the body and access a space of being. Yin Yoga is a passive practice, where you will hold stretches for several minutes and allow gravity to help create more flexibility and mobility in your body. Yin Yoga encourages you to challenge your edge while also allowing for deep relaxation in your mind and body. In this therapeutic practice poses are held for 3-5 minutes, allowing the connective tissue in the body to open more effectively. Through this restful and relaxing sequence, we can reset the nervous system, allowing for a decrease in stress, anxiety and fatigue.
This workshop combines both mindfulness writing and mindful movement! Discover how yoga and mindfulness supports our bodies and minds. This workshop focuses on an inspirational idea, journaling tips and tricks, and gives you the space to be mindful.

Mindfulness Tools & Strategies

The benefits of mindfulness practices can be healing, creative and quite transformative. Mindfulness tools can support us in deepening our relationship with ourselves, others and the world around us. Participants will share with others to help build community, foster connection, increase resiliency, fuel creativity, and deepen compassion for themselves and others. Participants will learn positive and appropriate coping skills on handling stress and how to incorporate mindfulness into their daily routines.
